About Us
Sycha is the creation of Melissa Evans, a graphic designer, and her husband Charlie Evans, a developer. We build websites in Nelson, New Zealand. You can view our work at our website SunRoom.co.nz.
Sycha is an area for both of us to give back a little to the online community. In between projects or late at night once our daughter is asleep, we add a little content here from time to time.
We really love hearing your feedback so please feel free to add a comment to our posts or drop us a line using our Contact Form.

Hi, I’m Melissa Evans
Years ago, while studying 3D animation, I wouldn’t have been able to learn what I did without online tutorials. Our tutors would basically point us to online tutorials and say do this, and it was then that I decided that I would one day write free online tutorials to give back. If you do Photoshop tutorials you may have visited my old website www.MelissaClifton.com (which I did before I got married).
From time to time I also have other stuff to give back too, like Photoshop brushes or textures that are surplus to a project. I hope some of what I contribute is useful to you!

Hi, I’m Charlie Evans
I work in a really cool industry with amazingly talented people. My qualifications in computer science set me up with solid foundations for web development but it’s the collective knowledge and community spirit of the web that keeps me interested and on my toes. I learn everything I use daily by following examples and experimenting with my own ideas. This blog serves as a reference for the tips and tricks that I’ve picked up along the way, aswell as a place to give back to the community by way of my own plugins, themes and extensions.
